A Section Of West Lake Avenue Is Closed As Tree Threatens Wires
West Lake Avenue between Janeway and Pepperwood Drives is closed as a tree 'has cracked and is threatening to take the wires,' police say.
GUILFORD, CT —Police said West Lake Avenue is closed, albeit temporarily, between Janeway and Pepperwood Drives for a large tree that has cracked and is threatening to take the wires down.
Police said a tree crew is enroute and should be at the location within the hour. We apologize for the inconvenience but appreciate your patience. Please use Long Hill Rd or Route 22 as an alternative route.
