Three Teams Improve, One Joins Top 10 of Field Hockey Poll
The latest ranking of Connecticut high school field hockey teams has been released.

One team moved into the top 10 and three others improved their ranking in the most recent poll of Connecticut high school field hockey coaches. Newtown stayed on top of the rankings, collecting six of eight first-place votes, while Guilford maintained the second spot.
Here are the top 10, with first-place votes and last week's ranking in parentheses, as well as all other teams receiving support.

- Darien (lw: 4)
- Staples (1) (lw: 7)
- North Branford (lw: 6)
- Norwalk (lw: 5)
- Granby (lw: 9)
- Immaculate (lw: 8)

- Hall (lw: N/R)
Also receiving votes: Ridgefield, Wethersfield, Westbrook.
