TONIGHT: Guilford Dog Park Plan To Be Presented

The Planning and Zoning Commission meeting is scheduled for Dec. 2 at the Community Center.

The Guilford Dog Park Planning Committee is waiting on approval from town officials for a dog park located on Nut Plains Road so project fundraising can begin, according to the Guilford Courier’s Jack Kramer.

The project requires Planning and Zoning Commission approval. 

The Guilford Dog Park Planning Committee consists of more than 25 volunteers of various ages and hope to have the park open by the spring, the Guilford Courier reports.

Connecticut has more than 35 dog parks including Branford and Clinton and plans for some to be developed in Madison and North Branford.

On Oct. 29 their location on Nut Plains Road was approved by another municipal board.
