Woman Charges For Airport Trips But Never Showed Up: Guilford PD

Police say multiple people paid for airport transportation but it never came even though they paid for the service.

GUILFORD, CT — A woman has been charged by Guilford police and is accused of taking credit card payments to provide people transportation to airports and never showing up to pick up the customers, police said.

Sylvia Delloro, 44, is charged on three arrest warrants, police said. Over the course of several months the department received multiple complaints accusing Delloro of taking credit card payments to provide airport transportation, then either not showing up for the scheduled transport or leaving the victims stranded at airports upon returning from their trips, police said.

In each instance, Delloro collected payment and refused to provide any refunds after failing to provide the service, police said. Delloro is also accused of attempting to conduct additional fraudulent transactions on the victim's credit cards, police said.
