Victims Identified In Fatal East Hartford Accident
Two people were killed after they got out of their car and were struck by passing vehicles Monday night, according to police.
EAST HARTFORD, CT — Two people are dead after they got out of their car and were struck by passing vehicles Monday night, according to NBC CT. East Hartford police said that the victims were hit at about 9 p.m. on Roberts Street by Old Roberts Street.
It was not clear why the victims' vehicle stopped in the middle of the street.
FOX 61 reports the victims have been identified as Bianka Romero, 21, of Windsor, and Marc Plaza, 22, of East Hartford.

Drivers involved in the accident stayed on the scene and cooperated with police, according to NBC CT. The case remains under investigation.
