Bloomfield Teen Killed In Hartford Crash

HARTFORD, CT — Police are investigating after a fatal crash Tuesday afternoon. A vehicle hit a fence and overturned, striking an apartment building at 21 Edgewood St. in the incident.

The fire department and police's Crime Scene Division responded to the scene.

Christian Grant, 19, of Bloomfield, was identified as the victim, NBC CT reported. He pronounced dead at the scene.

Grant was the only person in the car.

WTNH reported that speed appears to have played a factor in the crash, though the investigation is still in its early stages.
