Child, 2, Killed In 'Tragic' Hartford Accident: Report
Police said that it appears that the child's death was the result of a "tragic accident."

HARTFORD, CT — Police say a 2-year-old child was accidentally killed by a car Saturday, according to media reports including NBC Connecticut.
Police said the incident occurred around 1 p.m. at a local residence. "According to investigators, the child was accidentally injured by a vehicle at a private residence on South Whitney Street," NBC Connecticut reports.
Family members took the child to a hospital. The incident is under investigation. Police said the family is cooperating in the investigation and that the incident appears to be a "tragic accident," Fox 61 reports.
