Così, Inc. Opens Fourth Connecticut Restaurant

HARTFORD, Conn. – Così, Inc., the fast-casual restaurant company, has expanded in The Constitution State. In addition to having locations in West Harford, Stamford and Avon, Cosi is now open in Hartford.

“We are very excited to bring Così® back to downtown Hartford,” said Vinnie DiNatale, director of marketing. “There are a lot of Così® fans in the area, including many close by who visit our West Hartford restaurant and have asked us to open a second location. City Place was the perfect opportunity.”

The new 3,700-square-foot location in City Place I (185 Asylum St., Ste. 102 - Hartford, Ct. 06103) operates Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., with takeout service available online or by calling 860-969-2788. A glass window wall surrounds the dining area. Inside are grey walls with dark marble along the kitchen, grey tile floors, and red and black accents throughout. With track and recessed lighting, the space also features tan wooden chairs with seating for 44. Wall art depicts Così’s original Paris locale, which opened in 1989.

Cosi is known for its fresh-baked flatbread made from a centuries-old recipe, Signature Salad, TBM Sandwich and Tomato Basil Soup, among other flavorful product offerings across all dayparts. Breakfast is served daily from 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Guests can choose from a variety of egg sandwiches, egg white cups, oatmeal, bagels, muffins, fruit cups, yogurt parfaits and more. From 11 a.m. until 6 p.m., guests can select made-to-order sandwiches, freshly-tossed salads, soups, flatbread pizzas, bowls and snacks and desserts, complemented by handcrafted beverages and a variety of coffee drinks.

The Hartford opening coincides with the launch of Cosi’s summer menu featuring such items as: Chicken Bruschetta Sandwich, Summer Spinach Salad, Honolulu Bowl and Blueberry Smash.

As a grand opening promotion, customers can receive a free medium coffee with any purchase by 11 a.m. through June 21 – in store only, see store for details. Additionally, all catering orders of $75 or more through June 28 will receive free delivery within a limited delivery area by entering code “CityPlace” at checkout or mentioning “CityPlace” offer when calling.
