Former Governor's Aid Dies At 31
A former aid to Gov. Dannel Malloy and Hartford resident has died.
HARTFORD, CT — Daniel Arsenault, 31, aid to former Gov. Dannel Malloy, passed away Dec. 24, according to WTNH. Arsenault had served as the assistant to the chief of staff in the Malloy administration.
Arsenault died following an accident, according to WTNH.
He was born in Leominster, Mass. After graduating from Gardner High School in 2008, he went on to obtained a dual bachelor's degree at the University of Hartford, according to his obituary.

Arsenault was remembered for his passion for community and his work advocating for affordable housing.
After working for Malloy's administration, he became a lobbyist and was appointed as senior director of O'Neill and Associates. He was also a member of the board of directors for Hands on Hartford, a social service nonprofit that serves Hartford’s economically challenged residents with food, housing, and health, according to his obituary.
