Hartford Man Pleads Guilty To Child Pornography, Sex Assault

Ronald Daniel has pleaded guilty to charges connected to production of child pornography and sexual assault, according to prosecutors.

HARTFORD, CT — A Hartford man has pleaded guilty to charges connected to production of child pornography and the sexual assault of a young girl, according to a statement from John H. Durham, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut. Ronald Daniel 51, will be sentenced May 24 and faces a mandatory minimum prison term of 15 years and a maximum of 30 years.

According to prosecutors, Daniel sexually abused a prepubescent female and took cellphone photos of his sexual abuse on at least two occasions in 2018. He also distributed some of these images, as well as other images and videos of child pornography, through the Kik mobile application. Daniel’s Kik username was “letsgogetluv.”

He was arrested June 2019.
