Hartford Man Sentenced For Drug Dealing, Gun Possession: Feds
Jimmy Flores will serve 13 years in federal prison.
EAST HARTFORD, CT — An East Hartford man has been sentenced to 13 years in prison for drug trafficking and gun crimes, according to a statement from federal prosecutors. Jimmy Flores, aka "Cuz-o," 37, will also serve four years of supervised release.
According to prosecutors, Flores's arrest was tied to an investigation into drug trafficking and associated violence in Hartford’s South End by members of the Almighty Latin Kings Nation (“Latin Kings”). Flores and Nelson Ferry operated separate drug trafficking organizations that distributed fentanyl, heroin, cocaine and crack cocaine, according to prosecutors.
Flores’ organization primarily sold narcotics in the area of Hungerford Street and Park Street, and he used both his East Hartford home and an apartment on Broad Street in Hartford to store and sell drugs. He also used guns and acts of violence to further his drug operation, according to prosecutors.
