Hartford Restaurant Owner: 'We Need More Of You Supporting Us'

HARTFORD, CT — A Main Street restaurant in Hartford that has been around for over three decades is making an impassioned plea for help to survive the pandemic. Peppercorn's Grill owner Dino Cialfi told WFSB that while the restaurant made it through the financial crash of 2008 and September 11th, nothing has been like recent times.

Cialfi learned how to make pasta fresh in Italy, which he's been doing every night for more than 30 years.

Dear family, friends, valued guests, and guest not yet met:

As you may already know the restaurant industry is struggling and needs your support now more than ever. We are facing the most difficult time in our history and these upcoming weeks and months are imperative to many of us surviving.

I am reaching out to you, not only as a chef and owner but, as a friend asking for help. Please consider dining with us. We have both indoor and outdoor dining as well as bar tables and bar seating. Don’t forget about takeout too. We do conventional to go, curbside pickup, deliveries, and catering. If necessary we also do Door Dash, Grub hub, Waiter Wheels, Dine In CT, and UberEats.

Our future is dependent on sales and simply put we need more of you supporting us if we are to make it through these unprecedented times. I know that we are not alone; but here at Peppercorn’s Grill we are fighting to win. But without your support, that fight seems like a steep uphill battle.

We are open:
Tuesday through Thursday 4:00PM till 9:30PM
Friday 12:00 PM through 3:00PM for lunch
Friday and Saturday 4:00PM through 10:30 PM.
