Ledyard Teen Arrested Twice In 7 Days For Stealing Cars
A missing 16-year-old Ledyard girl has been arrested for auto theft twice in a week.
LEDYARD, CT — A missing 16-year-old Ledyard girl was arrested twice for stealing cars in a seven-day span, according to Hartford police.
Police said in a tweet: "27 cars stolen in all of CT in 24hrs, 19 w/keys left inside. (Likely more) This Durango theft from Durham CT this morning resulted in the arrest of a 16yr old missing juvenile from Ledyard CT. This is her 2nd stolen car arrest in Hartford in 7 days."
