Local Roads to be Impacted by O’Hartford 5K

The Hartford Marathon Foundation will produce the O'Hartford 5K on Sunday, March 22.

The Hartford Marathon Foundation will produce the O’Hartford 5K on Sunday, March 22, in the community of Hartford. With approximately 2,000 athletes expected to participate in the event, please be aware of traffic impact and limited road closures affecting the area from 12:00 pm until 2:15 pm.

The following areas and streets will be used for the race and will be CLOSED to traffic. Roads will reopen as runners pass. Please expect minor delays and detours:

· Huyshope Avenue (Between Masseek Street & Curcombe Street) 12:00 PM - 2:15 PM

· Charter Oak Avenue (Between Wyllys Street & Van Dyke Avenue) 12:45 PM – 2:15 PM

· Van Dyke Avenue 12:45 PM – 2:15 PM

· Wawarme Avenue 12:45 PM – 2:15 PM

· Wethersfield Avenue (Between Wyllys St & Wawarme Avenue) 12:45 PM – 2:15 PM

· Morris Street 12:45 PM – 2:15 PM

· Curcombe Street 12:45 PM – 2:15 PM

The Hartford Marathon Foundation makes every effort to minimize the impact of the race on local roads and neighborhoods while bringing participants in to enjoy the Hartford community. Please seek alternate routes during the race if impacted. A detailed course map is also available here.
