Riverfront 4th Of July Fireworks: 2019 Guide, Scheduled Time

HARTFORD/EAST HARTFORD, CT – July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day. We gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Hartford and East Hartford so you can start planning now.

Here's what's in store this July 4th in Hartford/East Hartford:

What: Riverfront Fireworks

Where: Great River Park & Mortensen Riverfront Plaza

When: Saturday, July 13 | 7 pm Music, 9 pm Fireworks

Summary via Riverfront's website: Start the night off with a concert on either side of the river and prepare to be amazed by the fireworks show. Arrive early and have dinner at the Riverfront Food Truck Festival.

Important information regarding access to our parks on the day of this event:

• Great River Park: Pedestrian access only
• Charter Oak Landing: Handicapped parking only
• Riverside Park: Open for boat launches until 8 pm, open for parking until the lot is full. Boats can come off of the water 30 minutes after the end of the fireworks.
