Want to get away? Southwest Airlines just announced a 72-hour sale. See deals out of Connecticut.

Southwest Airlines just announced a 72-hour sale and tickets nationwide can be had for as low as $49. In Connecticut, you can score one-way tickets for as low as $49.
The Southwest sale, launched Tuesday, includes short and long routes and the ticket prices generally reflect that — the shorter the trip, the cheaper the fare.
You can buy tickets starting Tuesday and must purchase them by the end of Thursday in the respective time zone of the departing city. The sale applies to travel between Nov. 28 and Dec. 19, as well as from Jan. 3 to Feb. 13.

As with past Southwest flash sales, you won’t be able to travel on Fridays or Saturdays. Some states have even more restrictions on which days you can travel, including Florida and Nevada.

Other restrictions to be aware of:
- Fares are only valid on nonstop flights.
- The displayed price includes all taxes and fees
- Seats — and days — are limited.
- Fares are nonrefundable but can be applied to future flights.
