Trinity To Host Vax-A-Thon Event In Hartford
The event will seek to provide 4,000 vaccine shots in a 24-hour period.
HARTFORD, CT — Trinity Health Of New England announced it is hosting a Vax-A-Thon event this weekend. The organization will provide more than 4,000 COVID-19 vaccines to anyone 16 years or older.
The event will be Friday from 5 p.m. to Saturday at 5 p.m. at The Artists Collective at 1200 Albany Ave. Those under 18 years old will need the consent of a parent or guardian.
Trinity said in a statement that the nonstop event will run throughout the night offering a first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine alongside refreshments, music, and resources.

All second dose appointments will be scheduled for patients at the time of their first dose. Trinity is strongly encouraging those interested to schedule appointments, but walk-ins will be accepted, unlike most vaccine clinics across the state. Appointments can be made at Trinity's website.

"We, at Trinity Health Of New England, have a responsibility make the COVID-19 vaccine as accessible to all members of our local neighborhoods as possible."

The event is sponsored by a $50,000 donation from Fairview Capital Partners, Inc.; Fairview “ALL IN” Fund at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving; and the JoAnn and James Price Fund for Community Safety at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving.
