Virtual Field Trips Offer Teachers Options

Connecticut's Old State House offers civics and history programs for in-person, virtual, and hybrid classrooms!

If you liked our in-person field trips, you’re going to LOVE our virtual school programs! We took your favorite parts of a visit to Connecticut’s Old State House for your students to learn and experience the Three Branches of Government like never before, all from the comfort of your in-person, hybrid, or virtual classroom.

To ensure the safety of our visitors, our education team is proud to offer two high-quality virtual programs: Connecticut's Three Branches of Government and The History of Voting Rights in Connecticut. These civics and history programs will engage your students no matter how they are learning this year.

Connecticut's Old State House offers civics and history programs for grades 3-12 that will engage your students whether they are learning in your classroom, online, or a hybrid! Each program includes pre-visit activities & materials, a live session with a museum educator, & a post-visit activity.
