2 Accused Of Selling Drugs To Kids Charged After Route 44 Raid

Two people are accused to selling drug to kids, police said.

COVENTRY, CT — Two peole were charged after a Monday drug bust on a well-traveled state road connecting north-central and eastern Connecticut.

On Monday, the Coventry Police Department, with the assistance of the federal Drug Enforcement

Administration, executed a search-and-seizure warrant at 2448 Boston Turnpike, which is state Route 44.

The warrant was the result of a lengthy investigation into narcotics manufacturing and sale that included transactions with minors, police said.

The search resulted in a large quantity of marijuana and THC-related items (including THC vape cartridges and Butane Honey Oil products), narcotics, hallucinogens, and paraphernalia, police said.

Kalum McIntosh, 19, was charged with:

  • Possession of more than a half-ounce of marijuana
  • Possession with intent to sell
  • Operating a drug factory
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Interfering with police
  • Destruction of evidence
  • Possession of cocaine
  • Possession of narcotics
  • Possession of narcotics with intent to sell.

His bond wassas set at $50,000.

Morgan Clark, 21, was charged with:

  • Possession of a hallucinogen
  • Possession of a controlled substance
  • Possession with intent to sell

Her bond was set at $15,000.
