2 Mansfield Eateries Now Under One Roof

Papa Gino's and D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches recently announced that the eateries have joined together under one roof in Mansfield.

MANSFIELD, CT — Papa Gino’s and D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches recently announced that the eateries have joined together under one roof in Mansfield, according to a statement. The Papa Gino’s location at the East Brook Mall now has an expanded menu that includes D'Angelo classics such as grilled sandwiches, hot soups, and salads topped with grilled chicken or steak.

"Across New England, Papa Gino’s and D’Angelo are community staples where guests can always count on getting their freshly made favorites. That’s why it made sense to bring the two together in Mansfield," Deena McKinley, CMO of Papa Gino’s and D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches, said in a statement. "We’re excited to invite our valued guests to come experience what each brand has to offer."

In the business's first day, over $3,800 was raised to be donated to Covenant Soup Kitchen. One hundred percent of sales Tuesday, June 1, were donated. Covenant has provided over 750,000 meals through the combined services of the Soup Kitchen and Emergency Food Pantry since the pandemic began.

"Covenant Soup Kitchen is an incredibly important institution in our community and we are proud to support their mission and the essential service they provide," said Josh Niles, General Manager of the Mansfield restaurant.

The donation will go towards helping Covenant respond to the many requests for support from guests who have health, transportation and mobility restrictions.
