Susan Ulino of the LWV NE CT worked together with Dorothy Grady, the chair of the Coventry Democratic Town Committee, to organize the event.
The forum will be moderated by Marilyn MacKay and Lee White, members of the Southeastern Connecticut chapter of the LWV. Time will be allotted for the candidates to answer questions. Questions can be submitted before the event via e-mail to lwvnectforum@gmail.com. There will also be cards for attendees to write their questions, but once the program starts, questions will not be taken from the audience.

Voters who attend the forum will have a unique opportunity to hear from the candidates. According to Ulino, there are currently no plans to have the event recorded. Doors open at 6:30 PM, so the attendees have some time to meet their neighbors in the 8th district.
