MANSFIELD, CT — A fundraiser has been started in memory of a teen who died in a Mansfield car wreck Monday. The fundraiser was started by Friends of Isaac Davis and Family.

The post at GoFundMe page reads: "Isaac Davis, 17, died tragically in a car accident on June 14, 2021. A rising senior in the Carpentry Department at Windham Technical High School, Ike was loved by everyone he met. His spirit lifted up the room whenever he walked in - at school, at sports, with his friends, and with his family; while he is no longer physically with us, we know his loving spirit will live on in all who knew him.

Isaac Davis lived in Willington with his mother, Tammy Glaeser, and brother, Max.

The post describes the teen as "a humorous, caring soul who had a constant smile, loved his dog Lucy, and often sought out his mom to give her a hug and tell her he loved her."

"Ike spent his last day in school on Monday wearing a pink shirt and teaching his history teacher how to play poker," the post reads. "Upon learning of his sudden and unexpected death, students wore pink to school at Windham Tech on Tuesday to honor and remember the wonderful person who made everyone around him laugh."
