Mansfield Announces Thanksgiving Holiday Schedule
Find out what's open, what's closed for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

In observance of Thanksgiving, the Town of Mansfield announces the following schedule changes for Town facilities:
- Town Hall: Closed on Thursday and Friday
- Library: Closed on Thursday and Friday
- Community Center: Closed on Thursday. Open regular hours on Friday
- Senior Center: Closed on Thursday and Friday
- Animal Shelter: Closed to the public on Thursday and Friday. Available for emergencies.
- Transfer Station: Closed on Thursday, November 26th. Open on Saturday, November 28th.
- Refuse Pick Up: Thursday service will be on Friday. Friday service will be on Saturday.
- Transportation Center: Closed on Thursday and Friday
In addition to local offices, state and federal government offices — as well as the U.S. Postal Service are closed on Thursday. So are the stock markets which will reopen for an abbreviated session on Friday. All banks are closed on Thanksgiving.

All Department of Motor Vehicles’ offices will be closed on Thursday, November 26, for the Thanksgiving Day holiday. DMV’s regional service centers and major service offices will reopen Friday, November 27, at 7:45 a.m.
DMV’s regional service centers and major service offices will also be open for normal business hours on Saturday, Nov. 28, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

DMV’s Stamford Photo License Center, which operates by appointment-only made through the DMV website, will remain closed on Friday, Nov. 27 and reopen on Tuesday, Dec. 1. The Stamford office is normally closed on Mondays.
In addition, all AAA offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 27, but will be open to process driver’s license renewals during their normal business hours on Friday, Nov. 27 and Saturday, Nov. 28.
