There is a suggested donation of $2 per child to offset the cost of the maintenance and improvement of the playground. Children should bring a basket for their goodies. The playground and skate park will be closed at 12:00 PM to prepare for the egg hunt and will reopen immediately following the 2:00 PM hunt. The event will be held rain or shine; in the event of rain, it will be moved inside the Community Center.
The Jeffrey P. Ossen Family Foundation Community Playground was constructed by the community this past fall, and has become a popular spot for families to bring their children.
Persons with questions about the egg hunt, component sponsorship, pickets, or other playground matters may contact Maggie Ferron at ferronmb@mansfieldct.org or 860 429-3338.
