Mansfield Obituary: Douglas James, 60

Douglas Edmond James, 60, of Mansfield, passed away on February 22, 2018 at his home.

He was born in Hartford on January 28, 1958. Douglas was a graduate of Windham Technical School and worked as a self-employed contractor. He enjoyed vacationing on the Maine coast, racing stock cars, lobster fishing, photography, and astronomy. Doug was known for his infectious laugh and willingness to help others with his mechanical skills.

Doug is survived by his parents Gerald and Geraldine James; a brother Keith James; two sisters Janice Williamson and Kimberly James. He was predeceased by a brother, Ward James.

There will be no funeral service or calling hours. However, there will be an informal gathering planned. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life and share memories at the home of Keith James, located on 377 Scotland Road, Windham anytime between the hours of 1:00pm and 5:00pm on Saturday March 24, 2018.
