Message From CRT Regarding COVID-19 Precautions
For now, CRT and university leadership has made the difficult decision to suspend the 2021 Nutmeg Summer Season.

To our loyal Nutmeg Summer Season patrons,
It seems like yesterday we were gathering at the Harriet S. Jorgensen Theatre for Cabaret, the final production of the 2019 summer season. With cups of Dairy Bar ice cream in hand, we filled the theatre, and were swept away by the voices of Broadway's Laura Michelle Kelly, Forrest McClendon, Dee Hoty, and Jonathon Brody. Life was truly a Cabaret!
So much has changed since then. By now, CRT staff would be absorbed in preparation for the Nutmeg Summer Season. This year is different in so many ways. Unfortunately, the spread of COVID-19 has not yet been curtailed to the extent that we can attempt an audience for live musical theatre. For now, CRT and university leadership has made the difficult decision to suspend the 2021 Nutmeg Summer Season.

The health and safety of our audience, staff, and artists is paramount, and we’re simply unable to safely gather to enjoy the ritual of musical theatre at this time. We hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and we look forward to brighter days, when theatres can safely reopen their doors and experience the thrill of theatre once again.
With Deepest Gratitude,
Tom Kosis & Mike Beasley
