Tuesday, Aug. 14 is primary day across Connecticut ... look below to see who is on the ballot for what office.

MANSFIELD, CT — Voting will take place from 6 a.m to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 14, for those waging primary races for offices across the state and locally. Click the following party headers to see a sample ballot from the Secretary of the State's office.
In statewide Democratic primaries, Ned Lamont is facing a challenge from Bridgeport Mayor Joseph Ganim to be the party's candidate this November for governor. For lieutenant governor, Susan Bysiewicz is facing a primary challenge from Eva Bermudez Zimmerman; for treasurer, Shawn Wooden is being challenged by Dita Bhargava; and the race for attorney general is a three-way contest, between party-endorsed William Tong, Paul Doyle and Chris Mattei.

It is a five-way GOP gubernatorial race between party-endorsed Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton, Timothy Herbst, Steve Obsitnik, Bob Stefanowski and David Stemerman. Lieutenant governor candidates are Joe Markley, Jayme Stevenson and Erin Stewart.

A primary to contest Chris Murphy for his U.S. Senate seat this fall is a battle between Matthew Corey and Dominic Rapini. There is a state senator race between Ed Charamut and Tyler Flanigan; a state treasurer contest between Thad Gray and Art Linares; a comptroller race between Kurt Miller and Mark Greenberg; and an attorney general battle between Sue Hatfield and John Shaban.
