State Police Looking for Suspects in Mansfield
One is accused of taking shoes from a store in the East Brook Mall, and the other was involved in an accident and allegedly fled.

State police are looking for a couple of individuals in regards to two separate incidents that occurred in Mansfield.
On July 31, an unknown male walked into Famous Footwear at the East Brook Mall in Mansfield. The male walked in to the store with a black empty bag and proceeded to look around.
The store manager of Famous Footwaer noticed the male walk out of the store with two pairs of Adidas Neo shoes in the black bag, which were not paid for. The unknown male is described as Hispanic, medium build, approximately 6’3” in height, and last seen wearing an off-white t-shirt with designs and shorts.

In another incident on the same day, three vehicles were stopped at a red light at the intersection of Rout 195 and River View Road in Mansfield. The middle moved forward and hit the rear bumper of the vehicle in front of it. The driver of the front vehicle got out of the vehicle to check for damages.
The middle vehicle then reversed into the front bumper of the third vehicle, then quickly pulled into the left lane, passing the front vehicle, and kept traveling southbound on Route 195 toward Willimantic, evading the scene.

The front vehicle sustained minor dents and scratches to the rear bumper and the third vehicle did not sustain any visible damages.
The evading vehicle is described as a burgundy PT Cruiser with wood grain paneling on the sides, bearing partial CT registration 9AU.
