
Robin Diane (Gardiner) Gooch, 62, of Coventry passed from this life into the next on March 3, 2018.
She was born in Willimantic on September 18, 1955 to Robert and Dianna Gardiner. Robin was raised in Storrs, and graduated from E. O. Smith High School in 1973, where she met David, her husband of 38 years. After high school, she attended Central Connecticut State College.
She married David in 1979 and they moved to Coventry, where they raised their two sons, Nathan and Adam. She worked for many years at Fleet Bank, then at Travelers Insurance Company until 2017.

Robin was a devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored. She also cherished the many hours she spent just sitting and having coffee with her dear friend Pam. She was an avid reader and also loved animals and gardening.
Besides her husband, Robin leaves her mother, Dianna Young; two sons, Nathan and Adam Gooch and their wives, Monique and Katy; two grandsons, Riley and Mason Gooch; two brothers, William and Andrew Gardiner and their wives, Elizabeth and Kristin and one sister, Catherine Fenech and her husband, Charles. She also leaves extended family members as well as many friends.

The family will receive relatives and friends for calling hours Friday March 9, 2018 from 5-7 pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson Street (Rte.195), Willimantic.
