Storrs Obituary: Wayne Schmeiske, 78

Wayne Walter Schmeiske, 78, passed away on June 18, 2018 at Rockville General Hospital.

He was born February 23, 1940 in Rockville to the late Walter and Emily (Edwards) Schmeiske. He owned and operated W.W. Company for Commercial Maintenance for many years in Storrs.

He is survived by his brothers Donald and Glynn Schmeiske and his sister Fern Waltz. A special acknowledgment goes to Wayne’s very special friend Jennifer Avallone.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 9-10 am at Burke-Fortin Funeral Home,76 Prospect St., Rockville. A Funeral Home service will take place at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Grove Hill Cemetery.
