MANSFIELD, CT — A pickup truck was damaged when it became sandwiched between a pair of University of Connecticut transit buses on state Route 195, state police said.
The crash took place on March 6 and state police made a report available Monday.
At 10:10 a.m., one UConn bus was pulled over on the northbound side at a bus stop, just north of the Mansfield Road intersection, according to a report.

The 50-year-old driver of pickup, a 2006 GMC Sierra C3500, tried to go around the bus, but did so at the time a southbound bus was heading his way, state police said.
With the road narrowed because of snow banks, the truck was caught between the two buses and the truck's side mirror hit the side mirror of the parked bus, according to a report.
