Acts 4 Ministry's Sarah Carabetta Helps Host "Suit Yourself" Event to Support Women Living in Area Shelters

Sarah Elizabeth Carabetta, executive director of Acts 4 Ministry, helped hosts an annual event to support and pamper women in shelters

For the seventh consecutive year, the non-denominational, non-profit Acts 4 Ministry, Inc.in Waterbury, supported women living in Waterbury area halfway houses and shelters by providing them with a full day of pampering and support services.

With the ambition of “lifting up other women with love”, Acts 4 Ministry’s “Suit Yourself: Clothing the Inner Woman and Outer Woman” event was held on November 14th. Volunteers offered their services to 39 pre-selected women from six different shelters.

Each of the women received complementary hair and makeup services, massages, facials and new undergarments and a list of community resources, plus an inspirational speech by Angela Holmes of Waterbury Hospital.
