Duplex Badly Damaged In Glastonbury Fire

Half of a duplex is a total loss following a fire in Glastonbury Wednesday morning.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A fire badly damaged a duplex in Glastonbury Wednesday morning, leaving half of the building a total loss, according to NBC CT. Dispatchers received the call for a fire at 5:51 a.m. on Harris Street.

A firefighter was treated for a minor burn and there were no other injuries, NBC CT reported. A woman who lives in the home was initially unaccounted for but later found. She had left before the fire started.

The cause of the fire is unknown and the fire marshal is investigating.
