Man Charged In Meriden Shooting

A man has been charged after a victim was shot in the head May 21.

MERIDEN, CT — A Hamden man has been charged in a Meriden shooting, according to police. Jquan Christie, 22, of 129 Oberlin Road, was charged with first-degree assault, first-degree robbery, and carrying a pistol without a permit.

Police responded to a shooting on Paddock Avenue on May 21. The victim suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the head.

Police identified Christie as a suspect following investigation and he was arrested on a warrant.
