Meriden Coronavirus Update: 5 Deaths Reported
The city is reporting five additional deaths for a total of 38.
MERIDEN, CT — The city has 408 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 38 residents have died of the virus. Five additional fatalities were reported Sunday and Monday, according to The Record-Journal.
Testing for the virus has increased as the city has managed to secure more testing kits and supplies. At MidState Hospital, testing has gone up from 10 to 20 per day to around 100 a day this past weekend, The Record-Journal reported.
