Meriden Fireworks Show Postponed Due To Weather
The fireworks, which were originally scheduled for Friday night, have been postponed.

MERIDEN, CT — The City of Meriden Fireworks celebration has been postponed due to inclement weather, Mayor Kevin Scarpati announced Friday.
The fireworks, which had been scheduled for Friday, will take place on Monday, July 5 at Hubbard Park.
Fireworks are scheduled to start between 9:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., depending on the cloud coverage, according to officials.

“There will be two food trucks at Hubbard Park all evening,” according to the event listing on Facebook. “Bring your blanket and enjoy a snack!
“***the Castle Craig access road and the Castle tower will be closed ALL day in preparation.”
