Meriden Oil Spill Shuts Down Route 15 Lane
The Friday afternoon spill and small fire closed one lane.
MERIDEN, CT - A loose truck axel caused an oil spill and subsequent small fire that shut down one lane on Route 15 Friday afternoon, according to the Meriden Record-Journal. The lane closure was around 12:30 p.m. and affected the area by the North Broad Street interchange.

A single lane was closed while the state Department of Transportation cleared the scene, the Record-Journalreported.
