Meriden Police Officer Donates for a Ballistic Vest for State Police K9
The officer, who is himself a K9 handler made a donation for the German Shepherd.

Connecticut State Police K9 Gibson received a ballistic vest due to a joint effort between the non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s Inc. and Officer Dave Buck, a K9 Handler with the Meriden Police Department.
Through fundraising efforts $1,900 was raised to purchase vests for K9s. Each vest costs $950 and has a five-year warranty.
K9 Gibson, a 7-year-old German Shepherd, is currently working at Troop L in Litchfield.
