Meriden St. Patrick's Parade Postponed to May 16!

The 47th Annual Meriden St. Patrick's Parade Will Take Place on Saturday, May 16 @2pm

The Meriden Division of the Ancient Order of Hibernians [AOH] (our Nation’s largest Irish-American organization) announced today that the 47th Annual Meriden AOH Saint Patrick’s Day Parade will be postponed from Saturday, March 21 to Saturday, May 16 @ 2pm.

“The AOH membership voted last night to take this action at the behest of local and state officials in order to protect the health and safety of our marchers and spectators”, said Jim Finley, Parade Co-Chair.

The new parade date of May 16 will allow the current public health situation to stabilize while still allowing central Connecticut’s favorite and largest parade to take place.
