National Retailer Opens Outlet Store In Meriden
A national retailer that previously had a presence in Meriden has reopened as an outlet store.
MERIDEN, CT — Lowe's has opened a 33,00-square-foot outlet store in Meriden at 1201 E. Main St., according to The Hartford Business Journal. The store has hired 12 employees and is looking for six more.
Lowe's has been renovating its store for the last five months. It's one of the few national retailers to experience a bounce in business during the pandemic, The Hartford Business Journal reported.
Lowe's Outlets offer used appliances at discounts of 25 to 70 percent. The Lowe's location closed in 2011, three and a half years after it opened, The Record-Journal reported.
