Meriden YMCA Announces Golf Classes and Lessons

The Meriden YMCA is excited to announce new youth golf classes, and private adult and junior lessons. Marc Bayam, PGA Head Professional at Timberlin Golf Club and CTPGA teacher of the Year, will help players prepare for golf season.

"The off-season is a fantastic time to work on your golf skills and get you ready to play your best golf ever in 2021. I am very excited to share my expertise to teach new players how to play and help experienced golfers improve their game," said Marc Bayram.

The five week Junior Golf Classes will meet at the Meriden YMCA on Tuesdays starting January 19th. There are two classes available: 4:30 p.m. for children ages 5 to 10 years old, and 5:45 p.m. for ages 11-16 years old. This is a small group class and follows all COVID safety guidelines. The fee is $75 and registration is at the Meriden YMCA.

For those who wish to have private golf instruction, adult and junior lessons may be booked with Marc. Lessons will be taught in the Meriden YMCA Golf Room which has a Skytrak Golf Simulator.
