Obituary: Ada Iris Rosado, 71, of Meriden
Ada, known as fun, loving and charismatic, was a member of Iddpmi Discipulos and a talented seamstress.

MERIDEN, CT - (From Meriden Memorial Funeral Home) Ada Iris Rosado, 71, of Meriden, loving wife of Juan A. Rosado, passed away peacefully, in the comfort of her home, Monday, June 14, 2021 after a long battle with diabetes.
Ada was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, December 16, 1949, a daughter of Gloria Rodriguez of Puerto Rico and the late Felipe Sanchez.
She was a talented seamstress for over 30 years, making all sorts of dressings for all occasions.
She enjoyed working from home, and was also employed by Madison Polymeric Engineering in North Branford for many years, working alongside her husband Juan.
Ada was a member of Iddpmi Discipulos in Meriden.
In addition to her husband Juan, Ada is survived by her loving children Lymari Rivera-Guzman, Ricardo Narvaez and Zaskia Narvaez; her grandchildren Joshua O. Rivera, Adamaris Melendez, Arelis Rodriguez, Amarelis Rodriguez, Joseph Rodriguez, Sophia V. Narvaez and Adrian Narvaez; two great-grandchildren Ezra Rivera and Josiah Williamson; her brother Josue Colon; her sister Esther Flores; several nieces; and nephews.
She was predeceased by two children Ada Rivera and Roberto Rivera. Ada was fun, loving and charismatic.
She was the life of the party, and always enjoyed joking and having a great time with her children, grandchildren, and friends. Ada enjoyed and praised the power of giving, as she always gave more than what she even had to offer.
Ada was also a great cook, and was well known for her many great dishes during the holiday seasons.
Her family will receive relatives and friends at the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden, Friday, June 18, 2021, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
A funeral service will take place during those hours.
Interment will be private, per family request.
