Obituary: Carlisa Anne Caro, 53, of Meriden

MERIDEN, CT - (From Meriden Memorial Funeral Home) Carlisa Anne Caro, 53, beloved daughter, mother, sister and grandmother, passed away on Wednesday June 9, 2021 at her home.

Born on July 18, 1967, she is the daughter of Donna M. Caro and the late Joseph M. Caro. Carlisa was a longtime resident of Meriden, she attended local schools and worked as an assistant at the Bradley Home.

Carlisa enjoyed dancing and listening to music. She especially loved a good cup of coffee. Most important to her was spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her children: Christina Marie Caro, Christopher Michael Caro; two sisters: Annise Marie Caro, Dana Caro-Herman and three cherished grandchildren: Andy Alexis Vega, Arianna Marie Vega and Avery Marie Valentin.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Franciscan Home and Hospice Care and Franciscan Ever There Care, for the compassionate care given to Carlisa.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday June 17th at 10:30 a.m. from the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden, when the funeral cortege will proceed to St. Rose of Lima Church for a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m.

Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home.
