Obituary: Mildred Savage Ludemann, 92, of Meriden
Mildred, a proud Navy wife, was an active VFW Auxiliary 9965 member and a communicant of the Holy Angels Church in Meriden.

MERIDEN, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Mildred Savage Ludemann, 92, of Meriden, wife of the late William C. Ludemann Sr. (USN retired), entered eternal life on March 16, 2021 at Coccomo Apple Rehab Center in Meriden.
Born in Brooklyn, NY on March 16, 1929, a daughter of the John J. and Helen (Minialga) Savage.
Mildred was a graduate of John Adams High School in South Ozone Park NY, Class of 1947.
She was a proud Navy wife and mother to eight children and active VFW Auxiliary 9965 Member, Past President and Past District President, she was an active parishioner of Holy Angels Church in Meriden.

Millie was loved and cherished by her family.
Millie's house was the center of the family. It was the place where everyone wanted to gather for every holiday and where Grandma School took place. She was also known for her huge 4th of July family reunion picnics every year, just one of the many traditions that will be missed.

Millie is survived by her children, Irene J. Ludemann of Southington, William C. Ludemann Jr, and his wife, Elvira, of Mentor, Ohio, Helen Lange and her husband, Alan, of New Britain, Bruce A. Ludemann and his wife, Mary Joy, of Vero Beach Florida, Thomas E. Ludemann of Meriden, RoseAnne McMorran and her husband, Gary, of Meriden, Joseph P. Ludemann and his wife, Holly, of Meriden: her sister, Evelyn Belevich of Hawthorne NY; her grandchildren, Jean, Brad, Amy-Jo, Michael Jr, Katie, Megan, Erin, Daniel, Adrianne, Timothy, Stefan, Joseph and William; her great grandchildren, Caleb, Leon, Kellece, Kali Jo, Joseph, Emma and Brooklyn; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Michael J. Ludemann Sr.
The family would like to thank the exceptional staff at Apple Rehab for their compassionate care of Millie and for the kindness shown to her family over the past five years especially Richard, Debbie, Kayla and Ebony.
