Our Lady Queen of Angels Food Pantry has remained open through this difficult time and continues to help families in our community who are in need. There has been an increase in the number of requests for help. Not only are more people in need but they are asking for items that we have not supplied before. Households are requesting perishable goods, toiletries and paper products as well as the usual food items. Recently the new, updated pantry was organized and is ready to serve those in need.
If you are experiencing financial problems and are in need of food, the pantry at 109 Goodwill Ave, Meriden is open weekdays from 8 am to 1 pm. Food or monetary donations are greatly appreciated and accepted at the same location.
