Platt High School Eliminated from Football Playoffs

The Panthers fell short in their bid to reach the Class L Final Four.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — Quarterfinal action got underway Tuesday night in the CIAC state football playoffs, and in none of the four classes did the top four seeds all emerge victorious.

Platt High School bowed out of the Class L playoffs, falling to fourth-seeded Middletown, 56-36.

Here are results from Tuesday's contests; all semifinals are scheduled for Monday, Dec. 5 at 6:30 p.m.
