Red Cross Babysitting Certification

The Meriden YMCA is offering a Red Cross Babysitting Class on Saturday February 27th from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Meriden YMCA. This class is for ages 11 – 15 years old. Learn leadership skills, how to diaper and feed infants, how to handle choking emergencies, rescue breathing, basic first aid and lots more. Bring a pen, note book and a bag lunch. Includes Babysitter’s Training Handbook, DVD & Emergency Reference Guide. Masks and temperature checks are required. There is a maximum of ten participants. The fee is $39 for Full Meriden YMCA members, and $60 for Program or Non-Members. Register by calling 203.235.6386 or register online at meridenymca.org.
