Serious Crash Reported In Meriden
A car struck a utility pole in a Monday morning accident.
MERIDEN, CT — Emergency crews responded to a call for a car striking a utility pole around 11:15 a.m. Monday, The Meriden Record-Journal reported. A Lifestar helicopter has been called to the scene near Baldwin Pond.
A landing area for the helicopter was being set up on a soccer field next to the pond.
