Was A Casualties at Pearl Harbor

Stanislaus Joseph Orzech of Meriden was a Seaman Second Class in the US Navy on the USS Arizona. The ship was one of many that was bombed and sanked by the Japanese. His remains where never found but he is one of the Tablets of the Missing at Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.

On Saturday November 26th An Event Was Held By The Iwo Jima/World War II Traveling Museum At The Lucy Robbins Welles Library in Newington. Here is the USS Arizona Information:

Here is the list of the Connecticut casualties at Pearl Harbor. Ten of the 18 men from CT that died at Pearl Harbor were serving on the USS Arizona (BB-39) and are still interred there.
