Students, Teachers At 2 Meriden Schools In Quarantine
Some students and teachers at two Meriden elementary schools are in quarantine following three new coronavirus cases.
MERIDEN, CT — Three COVID-19 cases have led to quarantining of students and teachers at two Meriden elementary schools, The Record-Journal reported. Parents were notified that students and teachers in three classrooms must remain isolated for two weeks.
The affected schools are Roger Sherman and Thomas Hooker elementary schools.
The schools are being sanitized but not closed. Public health officials and families of students who may have been affected have begun contact tracing, according to The Record-Journal.
